The New Jersey Department Of Labor and Workforce Development provides a number of mandatory and optional labor law posters for all New Jersey businesses with employees to prominently post in the workplace. These posters are meant to educate employees on a variety of labor law topics topics such as the minimum wage, occupational health & safety, and other important labor laws. The New Jersey Department Of Labor and Workforce Development requires that these fourteen mandatory labor law posters be diaplayed by all employers in an easily-viewed area in the workplace. Most businesses in New Jersey will also need to print and post the Federal Department of Labor's mandatory labor posters in addition to these state posters.
In New Jersey, the following posters must be rightly displayed in all workplaces: Wage and Hour Law, Child Labor Laws, Reporting and Recordkeeping Requirements Under State Wage, Benefit and Tax Laws, Payment of Wages, Schedule of Minors? Hours, Family Leave Insurance, CEPA (Whistleblower), state SAFE, Gender and Equity, and Unemployment and Disability Insurance. In addition to these labor posters, employers are also required to post information made available by the Office of the Attorney General, Division on Civil Rights and the US Department of Labor.
