The Federal Department of Labor requires that all employers must visibly post at least
one version of the official minimum wage poster in a prominent location in the workplace.
Minimum-Wage.org provides a PDF copy of the official federal minimum wage poster below which you can print for free use in your place of employment. This version of the DOL's Minimum Wage Poster is valid as of July 24, 2009.
The large Minimum Wage poster must be printed on an 11x17 sheet (or you can tape two regular sheets together). The small version of the poster will fit on an ordinary 8.5x11 inch page.
Professional-grade labor law posters can be purchased online from Compliance Assistance.
Notification: Mandatory Labor Law Poster Update For All Employers!
Please be advised that as of January 2015, twenty states raised their minimum wages. Employers nationwide must ensure their labor law posters are updated to reflect these changes.
You can also order up to five copies of the DOL Minimum Wage Poster (and other publications) free of charge from the U.S. Department of Labor's publication page here.
Professional Labor Law Compliance Posters
Most workplaces display professional "all-in-one" labor law posters to ensure compliance with all aspects of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
These posters cover all state and federal minimum wage compliance requirements, as well as additional compliance issues such as overtime and child labor.
A laminated all-in-one poster costs between $20 and $35 depending on the features and quality of the poster.
Some states may also have special state-specific compliance requirements that are not covered by a federal labor law poster alone.
