The Mississippi Department Of Employment Security requires that these two mandatory labor law posters be diaplayed by all employers in an easily-viewed area in the workplace. Most businesses in Mississippi will also need to print and post the Federal Department of Labor's mandatory labor posters in addition to these state posters.
In Mississippi, the following posters must be rightly displayed in all workplaces: Unemployment Insurance Poster (English and Spanish), and Mississippi Worker?s Compensation Poster (English & Spanish). Other federal Labor Law Posters including; Job Safety and Health Protection, Equal Employment Opportunity, Fair Labor and Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave, Employees Polygraph Protection Act, Special Minimum Wage, Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act, and other specific Labor Law Posters must also be displayed appropriately and in versions specified under each. Ensure to read each and every poster for conditions of display, not all the federal posters are mandatory. Your business could have a smaller number of employees than is required in compliance with the labor law. Note that if any required posting is missing from a workplace, or is not in a conspicuous place where all employees can see it, then fines and or other penalties may be imposed.
