Mississippi Workers' Compensation Poster Mandatory

The Mississippi Workers' Compensation Poster is a Mississippi workers compensation law poster provided for businesses by the Mississippi Department Of Employment Security. This is a required poster for all Mississippi employers, and any business that fails to post this notification may be subject to penalties or fines.

The Mississippi Worker’s Compensation Poster is a worker’s compensation law enforced by the state Department of Employment Security (MDES). The labor law poster gives guidance what to do when (employee) injured. It also describes what employers and insurers can do when a claim is filed. The worker’s compensation poster is mandatory and affects all workers and employers in the state. It also makes it mandatory to post the poster in a conspicuous place at the workplace where all employees can see it. The poster also describes what happens to workers who file false clams. It specifies rules on the number of hours and work time that can be assigned to minors of different ages, and indicates exemptions to various child-labor regulations. According to the law, failure to comply with the provisions of this poster may and can attract stiff fines and or penalties.
