EMPLEADORES DEBEN CONSULTAR NRS 608.018 PARA OBTENER MÁS DETALLES SOBRE
LOS REQUISITOS DE HORAS EXTRA.
LAS SIGUIENTES CANTIDADES SON LAS TASAS DE SUELDO POR LAS CUALES PUEDEN
APLICARSE HORAS EXTRA DIARIAS. ESTAS TARIFAS SON VIGENTES A PARTIR DEL 1 DE
JULIO DE 2023.
LOS EMPLEADOS QUE GANAN MENOS DE $ 15.375 POR HORA (BENEFICIOS DE
SALUD CALIFICADOS OFRECIDOS) O MENOS DE $ 116.875 POR HORA (NO RECIBEN
BENEFICIOS DE SALUD CALIFICADOS) SON ELEGIBLES PARA TIEMPO EXTRA EN
1-1/2 DEL SUELDO DE PAGO REGULAR DEL EMPLEADO:
MAS DE 8 HORAS DE TRABAJO EN UN PERIODO DE 24 HORAS; O
MAS DE 40 HORAS DE TRABAJO EN UNA SEMANA LABORAL.
LOS EMPLEADOS QUE GANAN MÁS DE LAS TARIFAS ANTERIORES SON ELEGIBLES PARA
HORAS EXTRA EN 1-1/2 VECES EL SUELDO REGULAR DEL EMPLEADO POR MÁS DE 40
HORAS DE TRABAJO EN UNA SEMANA LABORAL. EL EMPLEADOR DEBE VERIFICAR LAS
TARIFAS SUPERIORES A $ 15.375 POR HORA Y $ 16.875 POR HORA EN BASE A LOS
BENEFICIOS DE SALUD CALIFICADOS QUE SE OFRECEN O NO SE OFRECEN A LOS
