This is a state labor law poster enforced by the New Hampshire department of labor. It is a must have posting required of all employers and labor organizations within the state. It is a summary of the New Hampshire Worker’s Right to Know Act. It entails workers’ rights to know about the possibility of short and long term health consequences to getting in contact with toxic substances within the work station and right to be trained how to use and handle the toxic materials as well as the right to request for complete information about such materials and or substances. It also highlights an employer’s responsibilities as regards the aforementioned. According to a directive by the department, this poster must be displayed at conspicuous places at work where all can see.

The New Hampshire “Right to Know” law (RSA 277	-A)	 guarantees that:	 	
 	
 	You be notified by a posting of the long and short	-term health	 	
hazards of all toxic substances that you may come into contact with.	 	
 	
 	You be trained by your employer in the safe use and handling of	 	
these toxic materials.	 	
 	
 	You have the rig	ht to request complete information, in the form of	 	
a Material Safety Data Sheet, from your employer on any toxic	 	
substance you may have contact with.  Your employer must	 	
respond to this request within five working days.
