While California's state minimum wage is $16.00 per hour, Los Altos has set its own, higher minimum wage rate that applies to employees of all companies who work within Los Altos. A minimum wage increase is currently scheduled in Los Altos, but until the effective date of 1/1/2022 the state minimum wage rate of $16.00 will apply.
