The Tennessee Law Prohibits Discrimination in Employment is a Tennessee equal opportunity law poster provided for businesses by the Tennessee Department Of Labor and Workforce Development. This is a required poster for all Tennessee employers, and any business that fails to post this notification may be subject to penalties or fines.

In the State of Tennessee, it is illegal under State law to discriminate against any person with regards to employment. More specifically, discrimination because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, disability, or national origin in recruitment, training, hiring, discharge, promotion, or any condition, term or privilege of employment will not be tolerated by the State of Tennessee. Violators are subject punishment under the laws of the State.

The State encourages those who feel they have been discriminated against to contact the Tennessee Human Rights Commission (contact information for the Commission is included on the poster). This poster includes the message described here in both English and Spanish.
